I'm just a girl who has finally decided to pursue (passionately) her love of interior design. I am a 40 year old mom of three wonderful kids, wife of a very supportive husband and a career changer. I recently parted with the insurance industry to focus my attention on becoming an interior designer. Although it's been fun and challenging, deciding to go back to school was/is the most rewarding triumph of my life. I love every minute of it......
I am the founder, author and editor of this blog: Marilyn's Design Studio. More than just my love of color, I started this blog for several reasons. Firstly, after leaving my cushy (being sarcastic) insurance job, I felt I needed to connect with people in the design industry. Thus far, I have met some really amazing, encouraging people. Secondly, I believe in surrounding myself with like-minded positive people who have something to offer. I have accomplished this through my blog.
